Bengt,
Thank you! I am just curious...I`m planning on doing it in 1/48 scale also. I`ll have to redo some of the parts so its easier at a smaller scale. If you did build it, would it be 1/24th or 1/48th?

Curious Bill

Corvettenutts, outstanding job! The color and detail on the skin is just fantastic. I know you did not ask me but I would opt for as large as I could build with out distortion minimum 1/24. I have built several previous ones in 1/48 and I just think it is time to go bigger. I can't wait to see the completed model.

gene,
I`m asking anyone that's reading this thread, if it were to be built at 1/48th (printing it at 50 percent) the builder would come across a few problems....such as rolling all the tubes half the size or whatever. If I would redesign some of the parts so that they are easier to build being smaller that would be much better for the builder. I know that many of us may have or want to build any of the Saturn stacks topping it off with an alternate lunar module. Now is the time to receive some input on this matter. I just think that this would be the way to go. I know sometime in the future I would love to do Greelts Saturn V. This build would look nice on top. So thank you for your kind words and your opinion.

talk to ya later,
Bill

Hi to all, I just read a sad news: the father of LOR concept, John Houbolt, is died on Tuesday (April 15) at the age of 95.

I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but even if Houbolt wasn't the father of the LM, without his battle this fantastic machine could not have been born. Another piece of this wonderful adventure is gone.

Best, Nando
