Lunar Module Project

Ok...here I go again...lets have some fun. This build I want to keep simple yet very scale looking. Its going to be 1/24th and you won't need a degree in engineering to build it. I'll start off for today with a few shots from Meta and Pep.

Lunar Module Project

Hello all,
A few more build pictures...
Picture 5 shows the 2 types of bonding strips used throughout the build. One being a double straight edged strip and the other a "sharks teeth" with a single straight edged bonding strip.

Later.

Beautiful project and georgeous execution.
... But your previous LM inspired me to start my little model.

I'm glad to hear that your health is turning well and i hope that in the future You could resume the wonderful LM with that detailed interior.

Best, Nando

My son is.stationed. at Luke AFB in Arizona. I had spent about a year there with him and there was a. local.hobby.shop. (tower hobbies). There are 3 or 4 of these 1/24 scale.apollo astronauts costing about 4 bucks apiece. I had thought.that. these were a great buy and got all they had! They are made buy DRAGON models. They also make many other Apollo related stuff as well

Bill sorry for all the periods.....my phone sometimes drives me krazy!

Yes it will be...I'm going to do it very scale like but builder friendly.....without taking up months to complete. Although this version will not show any interior or fuel cell compartments. There may be another version down the road highlighting these details. As for a detailed LEM I have put my 1/12 scale LEM on the backburner for now. Returning to it at a later date. :>)
