Well folks it seems like my area is going to get drenched tomorrow and part of Friday due to the tropical storm/ possible cat 1 hurricane that's coming . hopefully will get some work done on the Saturn V over the weekend .

I saw that on the radar this morning at work. Hunker down, it looks like a gully-washer is headed your way.

Yeah, keep the vehicle in the VAB, metaphorically speaking.

And be careful. I've lived through enough hurricanes to know they can be scary.

The VAB is closed for the time being , lived through quite a number of hurricane's myself not fun at all ,especially the clean up after.

Well the hurricane that came thru my area was a non starter , the heaviest wind gusts that I saw on my weather station was 28mph. We mainly received a lot of rain (5 inches) . Thank God we didn't get hit like the Outer Banks of N.C. did (peak gusts of 101 ). The VAB is reopened now and work will resume on the Saturn V .

Well folks started on the 4 remaining F-1 engines , I'm trying to assembly line them to get them built just a bit quicker we'll see how that goes !!!

Sorry for not posting anything new lately concerning the Saturn V , I'm back to working the night shift 7p-7a and have not had time to do much with the vehicle . I'm going to try to get some things done this weekend when I'm off , will try to post some pic's then
