Very nice work so far! I downloaded this, but at the moment I think it's beyond my skills to make it look (and do it the justice it deserves). One day though... One day...

Looking good Wichita, I've downloaded this kit too but will not start it until I finish my Saturn V and Mercury Redstone (too many irons in the fire sort of thing), I will follow this build to get an idea of how smooth this kit goes together !

Parts 34 through 41 form some storage shelves. Parts 34, 35 37, 38, 40, and 41 are simply folded in half. Part 36a is a shelf and 36b forms the doors of the compartments. Parts 37 and 38 are dividers for the compartments. Part 39a, which is another divider, is glued onto part 39b which is another compartment door/shelf. Parts 40 and 41 are shelves toward the bottom of the unit. After it is put together, parts 32 and 33 are added which form sort of a reinforcement and mounting fixture.

These parts are well designed and came together quite easily.

There are 2 each of parts 42 (MED Kit), 43 (Portable Life Support System), and 44 (Oxygen Purge System). Note that one PLSS is "hidden" on sheet 6 and numbered 46 for some reason. The 2nd PLSS is not installed in the mid section stowage assembly, but is placed on the cockpit floor at a later time.

Part 42 is a basic box so no problems there.

Parts 43 and 44 are a bit challenging to build because of the rounded corners, but othewise straight forward and well designed.

Both parts 42 are glued to the mid section stowage assembly with the little dash facing the front matching the handles of the doors of the other items on the stowage assembly. The blue square printed on parts 42 helps to identify which surface is glued to the stowage assembly, which also has a blue square printed on it.

Part 43 was glued to the stowage assembly brace bars using the white spaces on the back of the PLSS to help position them.

Parts 44 were placed on the shelves of the stowage assembly. I chose not to glue them in place since they fit very tight on their own and it might be nice to pull one off the shelf to mate it to the PLSS at a later time.

Parts 45 through 47 form the Coolant Renenerative Heat Exchanger. Part 45 forms a 4 sided bracket to hold part 46 which is a simple short cylinder. Part 47 is essentially three sides of a box with a couple extra tabs that extend past one of the corners...very simple to form.

The 45/46 assembly mounts onto part 47 between the tabs that stick out of the top corner of part 47.

Part 48 appears to be some type of storage compartment that gets installed in the mid section. It is a simple 4-sided box shape.
