Finished this a while ago. It's the NARO-1 rocket (AKA the KSLV-1). This Korean and Russian launcher finally achieved success after a few failed attempts. This model is from Leo and was a joy to assemble.
Also pictured is the WIP on the bench now. |

Great job, although the rockets are not my subject, I like to see great jobs and your models look great. A greeting and congratulations

Fortezza ISS?
I've seen a few threads talking about it, but precious few pictures. Has anyone attempted it?
I know Alphonso has a most excellent ISS, and I think I may try to build them both. I've got them both printed. Anyway. WIP of Zarya (Fortezza) |

After some cutting, gluing, and occasional gnashing of teeth. I think it's a somewhat respectable representation.
Am nearly finished with Alphonso's version of Zarya. Both are very good models, but Alphoso has a manual, whereas I had to google-fu a translation for this one. |

I need to post a side by side image of the Zarya modules. I've had them finished for some time now. But in the meantime I'm in a rush to finish this before the 50th anniversary of the Big Event.
This is a 1:144 rescale of Ton's model, that has been refashioned by legal. So far it's been pretty smooth. I'm 80% finished with the 2nd stage. I'm moving on to a 12 hour shift for the next 4 weeks. Hopefully I can take small bites and make some continuous progress. [IMG][/IMG] |
