Arrow Kens Command Module Build

I decided to step into this build on the part that I thought would be the most challenging. That being the Main Control Instrument Panel. I would say that this did not disappoint me. I followed Billys lead on the detailing but took a different approach to the details. I am backlighting the control panel with led lights in various areas. And decided to use a kit instead of soldering my own LED parts.

The wire parts for the switch guards were, well a lot of them. I built two of these before I was satisfied. The first one was a learning curve on things that did not work. The second one pictured here, will have to do.

So here are some pics of how it turned out...

That's a great job Mike, really brings the console to life. What's next, the hatch?

No I think I am going to finish the crew compartment, then move on to the hatch after that. Looking forward to the hatch though, lots of details there. The console is loaded with detail opportunity.

I used a a Japanese Paper drill for the rivets and most of the openings. That tool is probably the best investment I have made to date.

Dear Mike D.:
Will you put a photo or 2 of the back of the panel showing the Led set? Great so far.
