Really sweet work!

The patterning on the solar panels was just a pattern fill of lines hatched over a background. In designing, it represents a compromise on file size. You can draw each individual cell on a panel for maximum detail, but the resulting file is very large and working with the drawing can be taxing for the computer. The Juno model I did is a good example of a very large file size driven by the way I drew the solar panels. Each little rectangular cell is a separate drawing for Juno and making corrections or edits to the master file is a real chore. Using canned patterns simplifies the work but sacrifices detail.

Hi guys, just thought I'll share my build of John's Skylab, together with (comingg from my own ASTP model) Apollo CMS. That ATM was a challenge - I used paperclips to make it rigid enough.
