Really sweet work!
The patterning on the solar panels was just a pattern fill of lines hatched over a background. In designing, it represents a compromise on file size. You can draw each individual cell on a panel for maximum detail, but the resulting file is very large and working with the drawing can be taxing for the computer. The Juno model I did is a good example of a very large file size driven by the way I drew the solar panels. Each little rectangular cell is a separate drawing for Juno and making corrections or edits to the master file is a real chore. Using canned patterns simplifies the work but sacrifices detail. Yogi |

Hi guys, just thought I'll share my build of John's Skylab, together with (comingg from my own ASTP model) Apollo CMS. That ATM was a challenge - I used paperclips to make it rigid enough.
