Atlas V / New Horizons

There is a new year with many new events...f.e. the New Horizons mission to the planet "Pluto".

So I have built this wonderful model from Yogi.
Was not easy for me to extract the right parts from his multi-kit, but I think, it's alright....

Now I want to build the stand..., but the stand from Yogi is not so impressive.. and also the dimensions are not right...

So I will design my own...the MLP is in work and I will report on progress..

Thank you!

So it's going on...
in the meantime I have started the tower. And then, when I maked the side board, I finally realized, that the rocket not stands ON, but IN the MLP...
So I opened the top again, and maked the inner opening.
Here I take the formers from Yogi for positioning the rocket.
Than I constructed the different parts on the MLP and glued this parts and the bottom of the tower on the MLP.

And the show goes on....

When I looked to some youtube-videos where I could see the roll-out aof the Atlas V (Curiosity-mission), I saw the Pad from the backside with many details and also my wrong building.. so I repaired the backside aand think, now it's okay.
The last to do is building all the pipes and cables which connect the tower with the rocket.
