Version Mark III with updated details and corrections has been loaded into the vetting queue and should be available soon.

Mark III is available in the download section. It includes four separate files one of which is the instructions.

SLA detailing?

hi legal01, I, like Bengt, would like to print this at 1:32 (or at least for me, just the SLA), but it is a bit featureless at the moment. Any plans of adding surface detail to the outer skin and perhaps inside panel details on the petals?
thanks!
cheers- Scott

Sla

Thank you, legal01,

for the latest 'Mark III' version! I have it downloaded now.

milw!
For any further detailing of the SLA section, I think I will have a look at the Apollonia Paper-Model "Apollo 8 with S-IVB" in 1/48 scale (DVD), that I bought a couple of years ago. There might be some enhancements to the four panels of the SLA there.

If I were to use this model for the EduCraft LM 1/32 model, I shall have to increase the scale of the S-IVB part from 1/48 to 1/32. That might be the early start of a full 1/32 scale Saturn V later on...

Best,
Bengt in Stockholm

Hey Bengt, if you have anything that can be added to the details no probs, just send me what you have and I will see what can be done to include it.

As for scaling at 1:32 the principal issue is managing to fit it onto card that would be reasonable to send through a printer. I can investigate and get back to you on what impact that would have on the design.

Doing a flight model without the many detail pieces, Stage 1 & 2 when done at 1:32 scale used almost 6-full sheets of 2ft x 3ft sized cardstock. That's going to be allot of letter size...

Stage 1& 2:
