I know which side I would have facing people. From the 'front' it is a rather attractive model. The back is a bit drab, but generally they don't design these things with a mind for how attractive it will be as a model

Well, here's another one: The NASA/CNES Jason-1 oceanography satellite in approximately 1:50. I left the model largely unaltered, with the exception of some tin foil for radiators =)

Small preview of my first scratchbuild- one of ESA's SWARM sats, launched in November 2013. As long as I didn't mess the measurements up too much, the scale is 1:50.
Please excuse the horrible lighting. That's what one gets for taking photos on a reflective surface -.- I've also begun work on a Vanguard by Joy Cohn and Niels Jahn Knudsen. |

Might take a little researching - but how about ESA's new Space Telescope "Athena."
I can't find a model of it anywhere !!!! |
