Thorst's a user here, look for his 1/48 space shuttle thread, when it's finished it would took the title of the bestest shuttle model on the internet

I'm planning to build this one as STS-41D, maiden flight of Discovery in 1984, so no problem with the tail

Up 'til now I have built all my shuttles in 1/400 in dioramas (all AXM). So no flight deck for me. I still have to do Discovery and Challenger to complete the US. fleet. After that I also want to add the Buran to really complete the fleet.

I saw them on your blog, how did you manage to do such tiny replicas????
Fantastic x100 in my opinion.

To be honest, when I look at them, I often ask myself the same question! (-: But when I start working on them, it feels quite natural. Weirdest of all, I build them out of 200g/m2 paper. So, very heavy. I think it's the same when assembling an 1/48th landing gear. Small parts, but manageable.

Thanks for visiting my blog!

Do you have those parts for the shuttle landing gear?

Oh, I wasn't actually referring to that, merely the general set of landing gear you get with an 1/48th airplane.
