New models. Back on a Russian binge...

So I'm finally finishing up some long time projects. here are a few pictures:

First, the SS-18. I'm going to have several versions in this kit, the one you see here is an early version of the missile. the final version of the kit will have this, an ICBM version with the big green shroud and 3rd stage like the satellite launcher, a satellite launcher, and the Mod 5, a big black-colored missile.

More as I find the pictures, apparently they didn't upload correctly.

Here is the SS-18 Mod 5. The SS-18 was a bit challenging, there are a number of versions, and it's hard to create detail on an all-black rocket. The photos are very washed out, the automatic mode of my iPhone blew them all out. It's actually a very dark gray, but this shows detail better. Also, the engine section has been updated since this, the other SS-18 engine compartment is the newest one.

This is the SS-17, There will be another set of markings with this one, all white with a black warhead section.

And the last one for right now, an SS-24. It was a simple design and I had good reference, so I went ahead with this one.

There's more on the table, I'm doing the test build on the SS-15 Scrooge, The SS-8, SS-11, SS-1 and SS-2. I also have the SS-13, SS-14, SS-16, SS-19, SS-20, and SS-25 underway, but not yet ready for a test build.

Nice job there. Those look pretty good. This will make for a very interesting display.

Nice work on your Soviet ICBM's.You definitely have caught my interest. I was wondering though. Do you have any plans in the future to look into the Minuteman family of ICBM's? Years ago I was an MMT assigned to the 44th SMW, at Ellsworth. and would love to see a model of Minuteman 2.

Yes, I'm doing the Minuteman family. I have photos in the gallery section of the MM3, still working on the 1 and 2.
