1/96 Atlas-Centaur 10

Hot off the workbench! My 1/96 card model of the Atlas-Centaur that launched the Surveyor 1 lander to the Moon on May 30, 1966. I used Mark Cable's most excellent design and added the usual styrene/wire/etc. details. Highly recommended!

Very nice, Les. Well detailed, too. And putting it on such a nice little cheeseboard always adds to the presentation, I think. Nice job!

A couple better pix, different lighting. Shows the details better.

The metallic paper I used is called Simply Elegant Metallic Chrome Gloss. Works pretty well, IMO.
