The circularity of your boosters is inspiring. I could never get them that round without building them around cardboard tubes....

As to getting stuff via mail order, I could do that, in theory. But it would be pricey because everything has to come by UPS, FedEx or DHL. Kuwait has no home mail delivery, at least not like we know it in the U.S. People can send you stuff via the mail, but it winds up in a giant facility downtown and you have to go get it. And depending on the mood (or honesty) of the clerks working, you may get it or you may not. There are lots of horror stories coming out of the place about people going to get packages that somehow never show up. The package may have gone home with an employee. Corruption over here is rampant

Great work!

I am intending on starting this same project if I ever get time.

What method did you use to cut the rings ? They are very nice.

Thank you for posting. it is inspirational.

Excellent build. You are more meticulous then me. I see you labeled each "CBC Left", "CBC Right" etc. When I built Mark Cable's Delta IV heavy, I just labeled them R, L & C.

Hello Manfred,
Yes....in the middle to later 1960`s I would have gotten some "Estes" "C" size solid rocket engines and adapt this type rocket to make it a flying model rocket. Much fun!

Later,
Bill

Thank You! Although I think that all the years as a child doing model rocketry designing Redstones, Titans, Saturns etc. helped sharpen "rolling tubes" skills

Boy...after hearing horror stories such as those it`s hard to believe people complain in the states if their mail comes a day or two late!

Later...

mlprasek,
Hello and thank you for tuning in!. Nothing special doing the inner support rings....they were just cut out with an Xacto knife. Carefully staying on the lines. Just practice, practice, practice!

later,
Bill

Sparky00,
Thank you for the nice words! Yes, sometimes I think I make too many footnotes on stuff....but it works for me so I go with it!

Thanks for looking,
Bill

I guess it is time to build more models... and tell my wife it is Practice, not an exercise in filling up the available display space...

Thanks for the info,
Mike

Mike, find a local school teacher and you can probably clear some space on those shelves and keep the spouse happy.
