When I was really little, I saw the space shuttle on tv. Since then I got the interest, and I still like them. I'm glad that people still like them, and I'm glad you are here AXM!!!

Just to also add - thanx for sharing your story (paper modelling is my 'therapy' [my happy place]). I am now really interested with small models and your work looks really good. Keep doing what you do.

Fine work and, as the others have noted, an inspiring story. A good hobby can help keep you focused and centered. It can also help you develop patience, which is something modern times require more and more of.

And yeah, Alfonso offers some great models. Not only that, but his pages detailing the changes in Orbiter/ET/SRB markings and colors through the years are an immeasurable resource.

My first paper model was Alfonso's Challenger with stack from her last flight and the MLP/crawler. A lot to chew for a first try, but well worth the effort. Now 5 years later my office is filled with various spacecraft and my house is starting to fill up with ocean liners.

My first ever paper model was from AXM's web. I gabe it away, but I still have my second model.
On the clustrmaps site, it shows that the site has over 300 visits from Korea. Guess what, that was me.

I'm always amazed of how someone can build such a small scale model and
looks really good including the fine details.

Your life story proves that you're an over-comer and a conqueror
and inspires someone like me to keep going.
Keep it up!

Glenn
