1/1200 Saturn V: paper-replika minibuild

The Saturn V itself is done. It is about as long as my middle finger, around 3 1/4 inches. This picture makes it look really bad, it looks better in person. The launch pad and tower will be completed shortly. Please forgive me, I don't know the technical terms for these things

I guess it's looking cool - photos always take care about showing all the tiny details that are not so pretty

I can, too, guess it must be looking good and well done. The nozzles, skirts and fins must have been particularly tricky to shape and assemble at such a reduced scale, so the result does not appear so bad.

'Launch pad' and 'tower' can be considered as correct technical terms... When doing some research, one quickly stumbles upon the acronym LUT for the tall structure, standing for Launch Umbilical Tower.

The author of this model included the crawler transporter with the launch pad, merging them into one single block to build.

need something in the picture to give it perspective, maybe some car keys, or a dollar bill. I have no concept of size with your picture.

PE,
great little rocket, keeping it between your fingers, then everything is clear.

I'm already curious about the LUT.

Almost done, just the crawler and the arms of the LUT I haven't worked on this for a few weeks, but I have been procrastinating posting this for so long...

The end to come soon, but here it is now, with the Saturn V currently in a state of unbalanced-ness

I don't know if I'd say amazing... I might be able to finish this over the weekend though, so keep checking if you like what you see

Nice. Did you build the skirts as designed? When I did my mini build of this model, I wasn't happy with the way he made the bottom of the skirt be a full circle.
