Late to the game with a question

Howdy!
WAAAY back on page 1 of this thread you have a picture of some space capsules and a School bus.
Could you tell me where I can get a bus like that? I would like to have one, as it is a scale marker that most everyone can relate to.
Great job on building a whole world of models.
Mike

Mike, it's from Paper Toys - Paper Cut-Out Models - Free at PaperToys.com with appropriate rescaling and graphics changes for the school name. It's the American School bus.

An update on the lightsail ... which is talking again so we may get a sail deployment soon! Working with the Planetary Society to see if they want to use the model for education/promotion (sent a couple of examples and files to the volunteer coordinator). I expect to post the model as soon as that works out.

Put up the half-scale LightSail A in the download section. Working with the Planetary Society on a good, buildable version of the full scale model - not that that matters for the master-builders here but it's important for an education/outreach tool.
Half scale (or smaller) makes it easier to add a sail without filling a room.

Enjoy, Yogi

Yogi

Thank you Yogi for the link...I often wondered myself where that little bus came from!

Always happy to help. Sometimes it's the little things that really finish off a display. Original idea courtesy of Jon Leslie.

Status update

Still piddling along. Cleared the shelves of Alphonso's (AXM) latest Falcon 9 and another JWST build to the library.

Also did a few sci-fi items for some geeks who run a podcast I listen to. Made up bunch of little boxes so they'd survive the shipping. Thunderchild designs, mostly.
