1960s in the GDR, behind the Iron Curtain. Here are the models that the amateurs of the time could build:
The cover of the booklet, all the pretty toys of the big brother russian country: The brand is well known and renowned at the time: Kranich Modell bogen The notice: The text (a little propaganda!) And photos: I mounted the orbital rocket, in fact a SS10 Scrag quite well reproduced. This huge machine had to put atomic bombs in orbit around the earth waiting for a possible use. The project aborted. I did a scan, and I resize from 1/87 to 1/100 like my other missiles. |

All those rockets are great but the Atlas is spectacular.
If I may ask, what paper and/or technique did you use to achieve the finish? |

I use Red River metallic paper but the problem is that this paper is very sensitive to the glue. So I use double sides adhesive tape to glue the parts (cylinders) and an inside coat ot self adhesive paper to avoid the direct contact of the glue with the metallic paper, even inside. |
