I spent a lot of time working inside both the Trident 1 C4 and Trident 2 D5 missiles while I was in the Navy, along with launching too many to count on both the Pacific Missile and Atlantic Missile test ranges. The worst thing about laying on top of the first stage motor with the bottom of the second stage above you is the massive headache you get.

They are solid fuel missiles and it is a nitro based concoction that causes the
blood vessels in your head to dilate. Worst headaches I ever had.

What an awesome display! I have this kit and have built a few of the models, but I may have to steal some of your ideas for displaying them. They look so much better "launching" than just standing on a base.

The missiles use magnets to be displayed on the small wood cylinder.
They are moveable for the transport.
