The one missile on the book needs to be shared on FB. It really hits home on papermodelling.

Dear Jan:
Love the Idea of standard scale to compare and contrast them, My question is how are you going to display them? Like an outdoor museum setting with signage paths and in groups by age and country? Model on, Miles |

The famous V2 or A4.
Please , notice this introduction from Niels papermodels: "The cooperation with the Nazi-regime casts long shadows over the V-2 story. Von Braun’s role in this is still under debate – especially in Europe. The fact is, that the manufacturings of the rockets were done by workers in the concentrations camps Dora Mittelbau or Nordhausen. It has been estimated, that for each operational V-2, 6 inmates were worked to death. This model is dedicated to the memory of these slave workers." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/V-2_rocket Model here: Niels papermodels - V-2 A4v2 Prototype and: V-2 Rocket - currell.net |

Dear Paper modelers:
Adjusting soapbox, I wish to commend Jan for starting this project and giving us pictures of each model as he does them. There is no one museum anywhere in the world that one could go and see the real things in a setting that would allow one to see the relative size of the rockets, Jan is going to allow us to have this adventure as I hope he will do photos of groups of rockets together. This just shows the usefulness of paper models to get models from many scales and standardize them to one scale. Thank you Jan, Miles Wish I could cross the big pond and see the up close when you take them to a model show. |

Your minis look a lot cleaner than my oversize builds!
The A-4 will always be controversial. But including it is absolutely essential to the history of rocketry. |
