Polyus
The ill-fated Soviet laser battle station. Launched 1987 never reached the orbit. It consisted of the laser (1 megawatt carbon dioxide laser) housing hull and a FGB (TKS derived) module to host the crew and provide RCS. Much like the later Mir and ISS modules
This is my own model intended for double build - orbit and launch configuration. Printouts and instructions. Halfway. Orbital configuration. The solar panels are detachable to enable putting on the fairing. The fairing itself however turned out to be to tight, so I'll have to redesign it and print again. Will try the launch configuration tomorrow.

Both versions
OK. I have to say I'm not fully satisfied with the result, but that's cause I'm lazy and made 2-in-1 model, instead of making two separate versions :D Fixing this to one of the version would work better, I guess.
This is the launch configuration. The fairing, if done from the model, would fit more closely and look better. Also - I printed this new fairing, slightly bigger, on a different printer and it show. But still I like the outcome. The orbit configuration, that never came to be. This looks alright, I guess. The FGB block derived from the TKS project was later turned into Kvant-2, Kristall, Spietr and Priroda, as well az Zarya. And yes, I have a TKS model available too So, that's it. This one was damn simple. It will be available for free sometime next week.

Yeah, this one is far more advanced than mine
I'll have to scale that to 1:144 and assemble one day.
