1:300 Space Race
Time to kick off a project I've been planning for quite a while. Hopefully my ADHD doesn't destroy this one, too...
This will be a living thread, to be updated as I complete construction. Due to limits on printer scaling settings, the models can't be a true 1/300. Most models were originally 1/96, but will be built at ~1/306. Models that were 1/100 will end up at 1/311. Models that were 1/144 should be closest to a true 1/300. The thread begins with a rocket that doesn't truly belong to the space race, but could be thought of as the grandfather of the space race - von Braun's first successful ballistic missile, the V-2. The model is a free download from Nielspapermodels, designed at 1/96.

Just the thought of working in such a small scale makes my head hurt. Huge thumbs up to everyone who can do it without going insane (or having parts strewn around by the unexpected sneeze).
Fantastic job! |
