ordering the microartwork crawler

I know that some in the forum have ordered Mischa (Cyana's) stunning Crawler from Microartwork.

I see the Crawler as a future aspirational project and want to order one as they are a limited run. Microartwork's site says they are still available and not to worry if it takes a bit to get the bill via paypal.

That said, I emailed a week ago and haven't heard back. I totally understand that few if any in this community can do this as a full time job and I hate to bother others unnecessarily. Any advice as to when I should be concerned something happened and follow-up? What kind of time frames did you have?

Thank you, Eric

Hello Eric,

and do not worry, Mischa will report to you soon.

BTW, here is a building report of my friend Rich in NASASpaceFlight.com Forum, who has built Mischa's Paper Kit Crawler with lighting.

and lots of fun.

Not to hijack the thread, but does anyone know the current progress on his LUT? Kartonbau was hard for me to navigate before, now it's utterly impossible to find anything rocket related.

You must be registered, here is Mischa's last post 246 (03/02/2017).

He is very hardworking and has just completed the Service Arm #5 (SII-C FWD).

BTW, in July 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the first moon landing, until then Mischa wants to be finished with his LUT, including Saturn V ...

I am registered, since '06. Like I said, I didn't used to have that much difficulty getting around but not knowing german. . . it seems like they've gone out of their way to make it difficult. (I actually want to learn it, made an attempt to back in high school)

Anyway, it's nice to see the progress. This is one of the crown jewels of paper models as far as I'm concerned!

@snowmanX
Sorry I kept you waiting - Outlook sorted your email into my spam folder for whatever reason, that I monitor from time to time only - however, I've processed your order meanwhile, thank you very much

@Mechanic
Thanks for your kind comment! Meanwhile, Level 160 and 140 are finished, and service arm #4 is halfway through. SA#4 is the king of the service arms and incredible complex, and my blueprints are notoriously contradictious - so I have to continue with the Saturn V to get critical details of the arm correct.

@spacerunner
Thanks for helping out . Came here just by accident and felt I should drop a note

best greetings and happy space modelling
Mischa
