AXM Soyuz help needed.

Is it me (probably), but I can't seem to get the parts for the capsule section of the AXM Soyuz craft to fit together. The parts do not apoear to fit together due to being the wrong sizes / diameter to each other. Is there a solution out there ? I've tried and failed twice now, and it is a craft that I want to have.

Please, share some pictures showing the problem so I can assist you.
All the parts should fit if you printed out with NO SCALING in your printer settings.

I don't think it's a scaling issue, as the 'service module' section builds, but not the 'command module' section. If it was a scaling issue on printing, I would assume to see problems with all parts, not just some. As I mentioned, the diameters of the parts don't seem to match.
As an alternative build I tried your Apollo Command and Service module, but the diameter of the service module does not match the diameter of the base of the command module cone.

Gotham,
Please post some pictures of your build.
All the parts fit. The Apollo and Soyuz model parts fit as well.

I have built the ASTP kit and have had no fit issues. All the parts went together as designed. Perhaps you are getting the taper sections for the CM and SM back to front. If this is the case then there will be some fit issues.
Hope this helps.

I agree with cardist. I built a Soyuz to help out another member (sort of as a guide), and have recently build the Progress and Soyuz 19 (as part of the ASTP). While my build wasn't perfect, I think any error is on my end. Will post pictures when I get home from work.

I also join the club to say the Soyuz is a perfectly well-fitting model.
I built it in 1/400 and it still fitted great. I think you had a couple of parts and mistook them for other ones, perhaps.
And yes, it really could be useful when you post some pictures of your build and where it went wrong. That's an easier way to be of help.

The Force is strong in this one ! Success !!! I reprinted again, but, yes, I changed how the file printed. So far I have managed to fit together the top of the 'command module', which I couldn't before. I am now one happy bunny !!! Also getting looks of knowing from the wife (as usual) for being stubborn and failing to see that the fault lay with me. Why are wives always right, what is their secret ?
Thanks to everyone for the replies - I'll go and sit in the corner now and keep quiet.
