AXM Soyuz-TMA build
So, here goes my actual build - after 2 false starts. All is well so far. What I have added on the inside of the command module are some little pieces of card coloured black on the outside, in order to hide gaps formed between the upper 2 rings - through my build ability, not the model. I am building using my usual 135gm card.

If I may give you a suggestion....
Alfonso uses quit big glueingtabs and no seperate strips with them. When possible I Always divide the tabs in 2 at the least and make them as seperate strips. Especially on the curved regions it makes thing look much smoother...

Yes, I agree. The wider the tab on a curved section, the less perfect rounded shape will be obtained. Thanks for pointing it out.
But you can still cut in half each tab. I will consider it on future works, thank you. |

I'll try thinner tabs on my next build. Thanx

This time ! Changed to thinner glue tabs, so much better. Parts fit together easier and, yes, are more circular.
This is why I like being a member, the help and advice you get from other members.

You're on the right track and course: straight to the paper space and beyond! ;-)

A day off work, so some build time. Everything is proceeding smoothly now.
