Interstage with ullage rockets. The first fairing I cut out for the nozzle before assembly making it very frail. The following nozzles I cut the nozzle hole after the fairing was glued together which I thought was easier. Still haven't tackled the inner rings issue but I have started cutting them out. A LOT of repetitive parts.

Had a week away travelling with my wife so not a lot accomplished of late. I decided to pass on building the inner structure of the interstage, at least for the time being, and have moved on to the the six J-2 engines.

Can't say I blame you, the engines are the most fun!

There is a lot of fun to be had when I comes to engines on this project! Though I am glad to have this detail done.

Almost to the home stretch on the J-2's, good progress (for me) for the weekend.

Excellent work Mechanic, after all these years Greelt's engines are still the best ones on the net. Just wondering, are you going to make one for the third stage as well or use a different engine?

Thank you. Yes, there are enough engines for both the second and third stages, this portion of the build is like a little assembly line!

I am possibly considering this project as a winter build, but instead of using the provided SIV-B im going to incorperate the Apollo 8 one that i purchased several years ago from TVC-15.

I wish everybody luck who takes on this build! I got through the first stage and when it kept getting damaged because I didn't have anywhere safe to store it I gave up! I saved the thrust structure though!
