Apollo Moonlanding Program 1969 - 1972

In the year 2019 we have the 50th anniversary of the first moonlanding....
Now I have made a diorama in honor of this event...
There ar the aquarius from UHU02 upscaled, the astronauts from ecardmodels in mix with paper-replica downscaled and the rover as a scratchbuilt bases on a old kit from the czech ABC publishing company...
The Dio is in scale 1:15.

Congratulations!!! Absolutely amazing detail and beautiful work. Our moon landing deserves the best commemoration. Nobody else has done it after this achievement, We Americans are proud of this. What are the differences between UHU02 Lunar module which belongs to Apollo 13 and the Apollo 11 Lunar module?

Well that is quite the diorama, Michael! A very clean build, and very large in scale, too. My compliments. You are a prolific builder.

... I suppose you made a more or less generic depiction to celebrate the lunar landings in general, since the Apollo 11 mission didn't have a lunar rover and Neil Armstrong didn't wear a red stripe commander suit. It looks great anyway!

Yes, that's right, PK!
How you see in the title of this thread, It's a homage to the Apollo programm!

The aquarius is the only modul, that never was on the moon....but it has saved the life of the apollo 13 astronauts....

Awesome diorama and models Michael. Spent a few minutes just wallowing in the pictures (thank you for those excellent ones, btw). You've created an excellent commemoration of the Apollo program.
