David, Outstanding work as always...any sheen or streaks are obviously carefully planned detail work.
One of my Dad's friends flew the later X-15 high-mach flights. He told Dad that he realized he was at the top of the speed envelope when his windshield began melting about 12 inches from his face. It was time to slow down a bit. Bravo from Texas! Great modelling. |

The model is well-designed and goes together relatively easily. Of course I left out the cockpit and landing gear, which reduced the parts count (and complexity) considerably....
