...and I’m calling it finished!
Got the backgrounds from an app for my iPad. Googled "space backgrounds" in the App Store and picked one. Had a ton of great space pics. JoeG

You did an excellent job!
Now you just have to model a disabled capsule whose astronauts are being rescued.... |

Great looking model - looks like it's been sponsored by Coca-Cola.

Hopefully the Fiddlers Green Burgess-Dunne Flying Wing. Loved this even before FG created the model.

Blue Gemini question
You get GREAT conical forms. Do you mind sharing your favorite tricks? Love watching this!

The method I like to use is one I learned on this very forum. Using a soft surface (like a foam mousepad), Placee the piece on the pad and using different size round instruments , start gently rubbing back and forth. As you do this the piece will start curving. Using smaller and smaller round instruments, the piece with curve tight ter and tighter until it/s where you need it to be. I don’t have dedicated instruments for the rubbing. I use different things - pens, markers, X-Acto knife handles, dowel pieces of different sizes - whatever will give me the curve I need. Depending on which way the piece needs to curve you would put it face down or face up. For conical pieces you want to rub the piece in an arc so the smaller end curves tighter than the wider end. It’s actually pretty easy with a little practice. I’ll take some pictures to try to demonstrate and post then tomorrow.
