An actually project: Falcon Heavy and Tesla Roadster

You know, this week was test fly of the FH and our friend Alfonso (AXM) has made available a free download model on his page:

Falcon 9 - AXM Paper Space Scale Models.com | Falcon Heavy Demo Flight

This will be my next build!
There are 28 sheets DIN A4 in scale 1:100
I start with the payload section.
with the parts for the stand of the roadster
and any outside details...

Thank you for the link. My son and I watched this for hours.

Have you found the Tesla? I don't see it in the kit.

I guess you have to provide your own car for this project.

The Falcon Heavy and the Tesla in the Payload section are two separate kits on the site. Below the Falcon Heavy download button is a description of the rocket kit. The Tesla payload is hyperlinked. Click on that.

Can someone teach this guy how to lay out parts a bit better?!
110lb cardstock isn't cheap...
that 21 sheet model could probably be reduced down to 10 sheets...maybe less!

This is a specific reason I don't print and build many models.
I can't handle the amount of wasted card.

Sure, I can usually import the files into an editing software and start rearranging parts myself.
But I don't have the time for this...repeatedly.

AXM isn't the only site guilty of this...so I shouldn't single them out.
But c'mon...is it that unfair to ask for better arranged pages?
I know this is a free model...and I really do appreciate it.
But I'm not made of money, and cardstock is getting more expensive every day.

Other than that...this is very cool.
The model looks great, and Michael, your build is incredibly clean!
I like the artwork on the model...very clean also.
And watching the launch of this rocket...and the Tesla...was the coolest thing since the first Shuttle launch!

To those who pointed out my over sight of the Telsa, thank you!

I took a guess that it would have been included. I guessed wrong.
Should have noticed the colored text in the update box!

To Airdave,
I am the guy who has been arranging these files since I started doing models and I will continue doing so. There’s a reason why I layout these parts this way. I do it by sections. Sorry if you disagree.
And one more thing, please participate showing respect to others. I don’t tolerate it.
It’s a free model!!

Hi, Alfonso,
I see it in the same way like you!
It's a free model (thank you for this) !!!

I like to build your models, and in this case it's very good to build.
Also without a manual I see the way to finish this!
Perhaps I will make a launchpad later....

I certainly appreciate your work Alphonso! I can see AirDave's point, but I find it hard to complain about your excellent craftsmanship when the model is free.
