a couple of ships that I know haven't been modeled in paper yet are

Lexx
Moya from Farscape
Andromeda Ascendant from Andromeda
And each could be made into large footprint models

JohnGay's suggestion is good. So are rickstef's. The Palomino has shapes and details similar to the IXS.

I have the first of the science modules done (99%, close enough for rounding error) as of last night. I'm debating whether to proceed with the tiny antennas on each module or just skip them. The other modules are all but identical in terms of construction.

I did the basic unfolding of the other 3 modules last night. I need to lay out the parts and make them printable and manageable now. After that I have 8 brackets for the solar panels and 4 panels and it is done.

I am running about 10 days behind on the instructions. I need to get that caught up soon as well.

I would at least try one set of antenna to see if they're practical at this scale.
If they're too small to work, better to find out now and just leave them off the final model.
Of course 'practical' is a relative word here (-=

I think they are very doable... I am likely just getting impatient.

They are quite simple in that they are a 3mm long cylinder that is 2mm across with a cross shaped trio of wires 12mm long stuck on top. [Read: 3mm section of round toothpick and three wires glued on top.]

You can see them in line with the windows on the upper module in this picture. They are the grey posts with radiating dipoles.

I guess the question is -- if you leave them off, are you going to regret it?

Looks nice. I suppose you need to take some sort of stab at the antennas. They are kind of a prominent (albeit spindly) feature.

I've always wondered what the pixelated logo is on the large panel that says "IXS ENTERPRISE" on it and has various logos. There's something blocked out.

I think that was a corporate logo they didn't have the rights to distribute.
