LUT from Educraft in 1:100

Last month, on my 65th birthday, I got the LTU and crawler from Educraft in 1:96 scale. Last week I started with the, for me, big project ..
I will not write so extensively, have big problems with english language, but will try.
my first job was scanning the MLP and removing the pipes in the PC .. I would like to attach real pipes after i've fitted these ribs. I reinforced the box with 6mm depron.

oh no Michael, cannot top it, but i can make some changes...because i learned from you

the next step was the profiles around the mlp. First I wanted to make it with Evergreen Styrene strips and paint like Manfred (spacerunner). but the freshly painted stripes on the dirty photo wallpaper did not look so good.
So i made a copy of the sides, glued the strips on 3 sides of 2mm cardboard, cut them out and paste it on a side of the MLP.
See the result....i am happy...

Next, a quick test build from the core and some floors to see how the stairs are...not so good, I have to make some changes....

When I see the strips, which you make around your MLP, I think to do it yet also..
It looks much more better than without...

I am so looking forward to following this build Helmut. If I may say, your English is fine. However as the saying goes "a picture paints a thousand words" so you can just add lots of pictures. I am sure everyone would like that!

Great so far.

Regards

Kevin
