ISS build

This is a link to a Facebook post from Spain...
He has cool revamps. But my question, did he have permission to alter and repost... From Alfonso?..
I didn't know how else to submit my inquiry.

Not seeing a link. Alfonso is a fine, upstanding member of the forum and a regular contributor; perhaps he has an answer.

Yes please...post a link.

I just recently had to deal with someone "retooling" my templates
and then sharing them on facebook.

As we've discussed before, you can do anything you want with anyone's models as long as its for you own use.
You can even share photos of your creations online.

But you cannot reshare or redistribute patterns and templates anywhere.
You also cannot sell those designs.
*Unless you get the proper permissions and agreements from the original designers and authors.

It's a Facebook page, I got to it through axm, it was a suggested page to like. When I went to the page again, he does not have a real http:address it simply states entertainment page. I took a screen shot of that page.

Exactly the same situation I encountered...
my model templates were edited and recoloured
and the entire model sheets were then posted on facebook.

In this case, he is even offering the blank edited template (no colouring).

I'm sorry but this goes against the artist's wishes.
If the artist wanted to release a blank uncoloured version, he would have done so himself.

The biggest argument you get from these guys is that the model is "free" (no cost).
But being a free or paid model makes no difference in ownership and rights.

Some fellows leave the original artist's logos or name in place, thinking it is proper credit.
It is not.

I found with facebook, there isn't an easy way to report copyright issues with images.
You can immediately report an image as offensive (hate, politics or pornography).
But there is no visible option for requesting takedown.

Best thing to do is send multiple reports and requests to the page owner asking for the removal of all the related images.
I sent a removal request for every single image (to the page owner who posted my model templates).

Thank you Airdave, I went about this inquiry, this way because I wanted to know first if this was a problem, before I reached out to Alfonso. I hope this can be resolved with him graciously taking the
Pages down, but that probably will not be the case. thanks everyone Chris .
