Thank you Rambler, for the great review.

And the great story ! ;-)
Models and colors look fine. Just as I intended. The nuance between the red and orange is fairly subtile but still clearly visible on your model.

I also found out that many people have some trouble forming nice long cylinders, when they are made out of just one part.
That's why I often make such tanks out of several parts. Sometimes I have to, because the whole tank would not fit on one page.
A few more rockets like that will be on my website, soon.

For me, making long, slender cylinders out of one piece is easy. You need only two items: a long steel rod and a couch with a soft fabric
upholstery. The steel rod must be made out of a VERY tough, hard steel and the surface must be smooth and even. Diameter is +- 6 mm or
1/4 inch, 40 cm long (15...16 inch).
I accidentally found such a rod in an old computer. It kept the front plate connected to the rear plate. Since then, it made my life a whole
lot easier. When making models, that is.
Place the paper ink down on the couch (where you sit) and roll or rub the paper with the rod. When the corners start to curl up too much,
place the paper on the arm rest and concentrate on the middle when rubbing the paper.
The whole proces takes about 30 seconds. I also treat the connectors the same way. The part can now be easily assembled into a cylinder.
Quick, easy, perfectly round, no creases or other nasty things.
To form cones I use a smaller steel rod.
If you still get folds and creases and cracks, no matter what you do, it's time to experiment with different types of paper.

Check out my website, in the coming weeks. There are a few very nice models coming up.
One from a country you never thought they build and launch rockets !!!!!

See ya later, mate !!
