Kepler and Delta 7925-10L

Hey guys, I wanted to share my build of Zach's Kepler Space telescope and my modification of Eirk Groen's Delta launch vehicle.

Zach's Kepler came together very nicely and I liked that I was able to rescale it to 1/25ish like my many other satellite builds. I didn't really flex the customization too much, so it was stress-less.

And my Delta II 7925 recolor from Erik's design. I was happy that he was open to me recoloring. I understood that there is significant color changes and configuration changes from vehicle to vehicle. I was able to get a couple of decent photos of the 7925 in its assembly building that confirmed some of the dimensions and logo difference. ULA only had a two occasions to fly this configuration (STEREO and Kepler) so it's understandable that it isn't going to be a common subject for a designer.

With research, I was able to determine that I could use parts of Erik's 7925-298, 7920H-300, and 7920-304. I modified a couple of the areas to match my photos and I hope to have a "supplement" recolor file available for download in case anyone is interested. Ah, I should point out, in my build I rescaled the design to 1:144. So you're results will be ... bigger? Anyhow, there was some areas I wasn't able to duplicate, hopefully no one will sweat those details.

Opps, and a compulsory photo of my other "telescope" satellite builds. Hope you like 'em.

Great job on the recolor and models. These telescope/rocket combos are pretty cool. Inspired me to start working on one for JWST.
