Soyuz help

Hello everyone,

since a few days I am working on the Soyuz LV model from Leo Cherkashyn. Without doubt, it is a very good model, but there is one question. Leo is using some wire in several parts, and I dont really see what this wire is for and how it is exatly mounted.

I dont know if somebody here have experience with this special model but... who knows.

Greetings
Christian

The wire is used to replicate the various antennas that appear on the Soyuz's exterior.

Since it is wire, some modelers affix it with a very small drop of super glue.

Oh yes thank you! That helps.

Do you know if Leo is still "aktive"?
His models are awsome.

Yes, Leo is still active. He just isn't turning them rockets out like sausages. Besides, there are a ton of other models to try and make.

Indeed, Leo is a very talented designer and packs a lot of detail into his models. They build up quite well.

It was not my intention to ask for more material. I am aware that models of such quality do not fall from the sky. it was a very general question ...

And of course there are other excellent models.

What are the best in your opinion of for instance Ariane V, Vega or Space shuttle?

Thanks for the quick and nice answers. I hope I could express myself well because English is not my native language.

Greetings Christian

He's also a member of the forum, and drops by occasionally to announce a new model. Or, he did for his Mercury/Atlas.

You might also want to bend the wire down inside and glue a scrap piece of cardstock/paper over it like how shock-cords are mounted inside a flying model.
