EDU Craft Diversion's Shuttle MLP 1:144 scale

Now that I've "cut my teeth" on some of the FREE paper models from AXM (thanks Alfonso ...) I thought it was time to really test myself on some paper models by EDU Craft Diversions.
I've bought four (4) of their 1:144 scale "kits" and I'm starting with the Space Shuttle Mobile Launch Platform (MLP).
This will be your perfect opportunity to learn from other people's mistakes, cause' trust me there's going to be a few.....
I started this build yesterday (Sydney time) December 4th 2021 and have just managed to build the Launcher Platform.
Most of the work is inside with all the sub-support structure, which I've built using foam core board.

Thanks Manfred.

Mine is a lot different................ it contains a lot of dog hairs....
Lesson: Don't smooth out glue with your fingers after patting the dog!!!!!

Can I ask how you built the Blast Deck, with the tapered edges?

Hi Dave,

as described in my answer #9.
It is important to reinforce the flat area of the Blast Deck with a thin balsa plate, then the side slants are carefully glued down, that's all.

Installed the Deluge System Piping around each of the Blast Shields.
Now I can move on to all the Feed Nozzles around this piping.

There's been a fair bit of construction since my last post.
Deluge System in the Blast Compartments is complete and I'm making good progress on all of the nitty gritty pieces in the Access Platforms.

So now I'm already thinking about added details ................... like people on the MLP.

Can any of you folks point me in the direction of suppliers of 1/144 scale figures please?

I'm mainly after Construction themed figures, with hard hats, etc. but I'm sure I can modify figures that are close
