Raketoplán (Space shuttle) Endeavour / 1:100 / L. Badalec

Hello my friends.

It has been a very long time since I have posted build thread here. Anyway I am back and I decided to build the Space Shuttle Endeavour from the ABC magazine. It is very accurate and enjoyable. To make it a little bit more realistic, I choose to make it plastic by cutting all the thermal protection elements separately. Maybe not all of them, but a lot of them :-)

I am also using different type and nuance of the paper for different places and Thermal protection sections

Your model looks great so far sagittarius. It is going to look incredible when it is finished.

Do you have a link to details about the model ?

Regards

Kevin

A little progress here. You can guess what STS i am heading for, since my friend printed out three astronauts :-)

Sorry for the picture quality...

I recently visited the Baikonur cosmodrome and i am so full of excitement that I need to recommend to all astronautics fans to do the same :-)

you can check my reports here: (no advertisement)

The sides look great!!! The model is coming together wonderfully. I really like how the nose shape turned out, model previews on shops show the construction is completely different from the original Betexa model. I wonder if it's easier to build that way.

Wonderful job so far!

Good to see you corrected the reversed American flag on the starboard side of the fuselage....

Sagittarius,

She looks fantastic!
The different types of paper for different kinds of thermal protection (both tile and blanket type) give the proper textures for each material. Can't wait to see the rest of the build.

Awesome work!
