Educraft 1:144 Pad 39A LUT Build

Hello! This is my first post here. I've been working on the Space Shuttle Pad 39A launch umbilical tower (LUT) from Educraft Diversions for the last 11 months. It's an excellent product. I just completed the Fixed Service Structure and will be working on the Rotating Service Structure next. It's a challenging build but lots of fun if you like intricate detail. Here are some pics of my progress.

I did this build about 5 years ago. Loved it as well, unfortunatly I ended up moving and it didnt survive the move. The silver lining is I plan to order the kit again soon and give it another go, although i couldnt even begin to compete with Spacerunners work. That man is a one of a kind. In your case. Keep up the great work, love what your doing.

Thanks Ed for your nice compliment. It's only Learning by Doing ...

Hi jjbroomco, your Launch Tower looks very well so far.

I don't know if you know my friend Michael Knobloch, the German modeler mk310149?

He has built the entire Launch complex 39A by using the Educraft Paper kits and did a really outstanding job of building this.

There you can certainly learn a lot by watching.

Thank you all for your comments. Manfred, yes I did come across a picture of Michael's entire launch complex last year when I was researching the launch tower. In fact that is what inspired me to do this project. Very nice work.
