Now it's getting interesting.Maybe we'll see Molnija too.
And thank you for the inspiration, I already have some Deltas ready for construction.

Thank you for your comments.

So here we are in the USSR for a few days.
A nice pencil to start with. This launcher called Cosmos B1 or "small" Cosmos is derived from a missile, the R12.
It was used from 1961 to 1977 from Kapoustine Yar then Plesetsk (164 shots). It was first fired directly from a silo.
Model Erik te Groen.

Another Cosmos B1 called 2M, later used to launch an Interkosmos 8 satellite for the study of the ionosphere (the name refers to a common approach of several socialist countries, allies of the USSR).

Nice models, but the journey to Baikonur is still long.

Now here is the heavier and more powerful Cosmos C1, derived from the R14 missile.
First launches from Baikonur from 1964 then at Plessetsk until 2010.
At least 445 launches.

The Start is a former ballistic missile (SS 25 Topol, 750 kilotons payload at 10500 kilometers with an accuracy of 200 meters), converted into a satellite launcher.
In the Start 1 version, it can place 600 kilograms in low orbit.
7 launches from 1993 to 2006.
The launch is carried out directly from the carrier truck.

Sunday Special with a big original model proposed very recently on this forum by Kai, a Chinese member. See here:
Chinese Rocket: Long March 5 Y3 and Long March 5B 1/96
Thank you very much again.

It is one of the most powerful Chinese rockets today, the Long March 5 or CZ5 capable of placing 25 tons in low orbit.
The model represents the successful flight of December 27, 2019. It is a high quality reproduction, superbly detailed.
The launch of a probe and a Martian rover with this rocket is planned for this summer.

Hello,
I recognize that this model takes time because there are a lot of small details but the result is worth it!
