Mercury Friendship-7
After the modern spacecraft it was time to finish a highdetailed model by Leo Cherkashyn - Space-in-Card-Models, which I started some time ago. A very highdetailed model that is in 1/48-scale and a free download HERE .
Some parts are smaller then 2 square millimeters! Well even with my old hands and eyes it cam out nicely, but it took time... The iconic escapetower: The spacecraft itself: Retro-rocketpack: Spacecraft in early launch-comfiguration: Overview: It has been a long time since Leo has offered an update or a new model on his site. Though a hard build due to all the details I like them and am still wishing for a similar detailed Apollo- and Soyouz-spacecraft...
