Creative Park Saturn V

Hi all,
since I needed some "relax" time due to a family event, I temporarily paused the building of Greelt's 1:48 scale Saturn V (later I will post the small progress).

In the while, I built the Saturn V found in Canon Creative Park, a simple, but a fine model that requires just some hours.

Here it is!

Nice build!

Lets see more pics!

Any tips for a better build?

Well, I used 160 gsm paper, but probably it were be better 140 gsm, due to the size (the overall height is 26 cm).

Joining the stages, it's fundamental to make sure that the different parts have the exact same diameter, otherwise the join lines are too much visible, as in my build.

The internal of the cones that support the F-1 engines and the engines themselves can be colored, for a better view when the rocket have lift off...

And, mostly, check the alignments!!! The rocket HAS to be vertical!

A note about scoring: until now I always used a worn pen to mark the folding line, but I need of something thinner, like a dull and filed blade to fold more precisely the paper.

I haven't seen this one built, looks really nice!! I loved the Satern V growing up, I really loved the footage where you could see the body detach from onboard cameras in the inside. Really awesome piece of machinery

I can't seem to get this to download! The instructions came through but the parts block.

Did you overcome this problem somehow?

Did you sign up for the free Canon ID account?

Yes, I confirm that the only requirement to download the models is to sign in.

Sometimes the sign-in does not work properly with Firefox. If that happens just switch to another browser.
