1:144 Scale SALYUT Space Station
I've only just completed my 2nd paper model, being the SpaceX Falcon 9 / Dragon and I've already started my 3rd paper model, the Soviet SALYUT Space Station.
I've decided to go with a lighter weight 200gsm paper for this one due to the model's small size and already the build is much, MUCH easier My previous paper models, SOYUZ & Falcon 9/Dragon were made using 250gsm. |

Looks good Dave!
On a side note - I’ve mostly stayed away from that higher GSM for modeling. I generally will use 170gsm for the majority of models I make. Even my 1:96 Saturn V is largely 170gsm and 200gsm for structural support internally. I’m sure there are others that do things differently but using a lighter GSM makes the cutting/folding process much easier. Keep up the awesome work |

1/144 is a nice scale for rocket and space models. The functional docking is a nice touch.

All done
In the final photo I've included the 2 AXM Soyuz models I've built as well. |
