I've reached a major milestone today by fitting each of the 9 Swingarms AND their associated gantries.

For the first time in my life I'm sticking to the work flow of the instructions and actually have quite a few small parts to make and fit before I start on the huge Colby Crane on the very top of the LUT.

I just had to see what it all looks like with my EDU Craft Diversions, paper Apollo Crawler.......

There's STILL quite a bit to build and fit on the LUT.

You are doing an incredible build. Beautifully done with excellent photos.

Are you going to motorize the crawler? Looks way past over the top!

Thanks Mike, but no I'm not motorising the crawler. A bit late for that :(
I am however, thinking about lighting the LUT further down the track.

Now that all of the camera/floodlight platforms are fitted and the big stabilizer arm is done it's time to start planning the HUGE Colby Crane that sits on the very top of the LUT.

WOW!!!!
I'm now starting on the final piece of this massive puzzle.
This is the huge Colby Crane that sits at the very top of the LUT on level 18.
I'm really taking my time with this cause' frankly, I don't want the build to end just yet.......

That is one of the best compliments for a model I've heard yet.

Working on a project that a LUT would be a great addition.

This model is superb, beautiful. I purchased one in 2019 to commemorate the 50 anniversary of Apollo 11. Never got to make it, Little free time. I live in Florida and I have visited several times Cape Canaveral so I would like very much to make this model. And your rendition, is absolutely fantastic!! Seem to me you have a lot of free time, That's good!!
