This 2nd of my N-1 builds is proving much more precise and tidy cause' I learnt so many little tricks and techniques during the first N-1 build .... last week ....

Dave, someone needs to send you a speedbump for Christmas - you're building so fast!

That tank dome and the colors on the engines look great by the way. Wow.

Also, I see in the background a magnifying glass of a sort. Can you share what that product is! My old eyes can use something like that maybe. I've never been comfortable with the eyeglass style.

Scott, That's just a desk mounted magnifier with a light I got from Officeworks here in Sydney. You should be able to get one from your local office supplies store.

Note to self....... Self, "Glue All" doesn't effectively glue enamel painted paper to enamel painted paper!!!!! So, what I did was spread some glue around the top edge of the fuel tank and each of the fastening ends of the truss and let the glue completely dry (quite a few hours). THEN I started gluing the truss to the fuel tank.
SUCCESS 👌🚀🚀
I'll glue down the rest of the truss tomorrow.
Too tired now.
Good night 🥴😴😴

That'll probably be it for today.
I had a biopsy taken from my eyelid yesterday and it's far too uncomfortable to concentrate on cutting stuff .......... safely ..... 😉
N.B. GET YOUR SKIN CHECKED REGULARLY FOLKS!!!!!

I did manage however, to finish fitting the interstage truss and made the stand for the model a bit more N-1 7-L relevant .....

2 sections of the 2nd stage are made and I'm just waiting for the 8 engine stack & base to dry before fitting it and gluing the 2 parts of the 2nd stage together....... then painting white.
At bottom Left is also the start of the 3rd stage.
It's all taking a lot longer to do things cause' my eye keeps "gunking up" ...

While studying some historical Soviet photos of the N-1s and in particular my 7_L iteration I noticed that the 1st stage fuel line fairings and bottom of the 1st stage itself is a bit different from the 3-L so I want to see if I can modify the fairings at least, either In situ or attempt to remove them once I've built the new ones.
