I do not see the complete model, and I already know that it will be a marvel.
look that I have tried, and I try, but I got to the point where I can not reach the level of "detail" ... and especially "cleanliness" and "softness" when assembling the pieces. You have a great level of "clean finish" in the pieces, (like many of you, the pieces hardly even notice that they are cut). in my case, you always see some glue, worn paint, pieces that don't fit, and I end up with an "acceptable" model ... but you guys, 9.5 / 10 In the end, I understood that I must accept and be very comfortable with my "level of detail in my models. (and not enter into comparisons) ... and also try to find ways to improve. |

Hello Craft!
With the clean, correct building of the cardboard models it is like with many other things in life: We always try to make the best of our models. But do we always succeed? I have been building cardboard models for many years, more than 65 years to be exact. How many have I built and shown in various forums? Perfect models were among them maybe one or two. Still I often stand at a point when building the model, where it means for me: garbage can or continue? But I can not give up our beautiful hobby. I would miss an essential part of my life. Now it's time to glaze the cabin windows.
To do this, prepare a total of eight - six in the cockpit and two in the roof - window frames with their glazing. The six frames for the cockpit are inserted in components C 13 and C 12R/C12L. The "roof" binds components C 14 to C17. The whole structure will later be connected to the fuselage rings C 10 and C 11. |

It is the turn of the remaining components for the entire bow.
Component C 11 forms the connection to the rear wall, component 000. The cockpit canopy is mounted on component C 10. Components C 08 and C 07 are a real challenge: A total of 16 holes have to be cut in them. Inside, 16 control nozzles ? are installed. These nozzles? are formed into "funnels" from many small pieces. They are glued inside the parts C07 and C 08 exactly according to numerical instructions. When the right moment should be chosen for this, only became clear to me after thinking about it for a while. The tips of the bags protrude quite far into the interior of the rings C 07 and C 08. It must also be possible to install frames 017, 018 and 019. |

Wow, the cockpit looks really great! Your build is progressing at an astonishing pace, really enjoying observing this clean assembly.

Between the Betexa, Fortezza, and this model (I don't know what it's called), this seems to be the most detailed ... (at first glance).
yes, each model is different, I can't say if one is better than the other. each one has his "best" in something that another lacks. What do you think? (I am very satisfied, and I do not ask for more having my axm shuttle) |

is that the model that is well built, without dirt, stains, glue marks, has a clean finish, smooth and neat finishes ... and also ... the photography of the models! they take great care that the pieces (parts of the model ... and then the finished model) are in a clean and "modeling" site .... We all know that where it is built there is confetti, and tools ... but at the time of the photos, you can see the "order" they have (clean place, good lighting ... etc) in my case, we are a large family ... in a small house ... full of things and almost no space for "empty" places to take photos ... and the "order" stands out by its absence.(You will notice if you see the photos of the apollo mission j model: the photos are taken from very close.) thanks for the advice. |

Yes you are partly right.
On exact photos of orbiters I have noticed it in the meantime as well. But I am not sure if on the left side the openings of the funnel parts do not point upwards. Unfortunately, both can hardly be changed on my model. |
