Joe, Don't worry, this isn't a race. Just take your time. Apparently Sidewinder has no human need for sleep or comfort of any kind. He's a machine I tell you. LOL.

I couldn't have gotten the canopy done in the time it took him to build the entire vehicle.

John and Billy are catching on to the "subtle connections" in this thread.

No, I am not a machine (sound of gears grinding) I am a perfectly normal (electrical arcing) human being.

Great looking design, saustin, and your usual great build, Sidewinder.

I appreciate a model of this LB being designed, as the alternative to it is a take-second-mortgage resin Anigrand kit.

That's what I thought Sidewinder...That's what I thought. LOL

Thanks Wyvern, I actually started the HL-10 as part of another project I've been working on. A gentleman over on the Large Scale Planes site scratch built his version out of plastic, which led to this card model being done in 1:12 scale (couldn't be that my large sausage fingers had anything to do with it).

We'll see what improvements JAGolden suggests, then we'll get this model out to you folks.

Cool looking build, Sidewinder.
Doesn't anyone know if anyone is doing a PM of the X-24B?

Billy, After seeing your B-58, I've been dreaming of this model in RR paper. I am hoping that the Master Modelers here can improve the leading edge of the body to smooth it out. Due to the compound curves, the skin comes out with "facets". I would appreciate it if you folks contribute ideas on how to improve the basic model. I had Bruce Peterson in mind while I designed this, and I want a final product he would have been proud to display.

Stefan, I have not heard of anyone doing the X-24, but the way things are going, it might not be long before one is available. You might try it yourself using Metasequoia and Pepakura. It's pretty fun to design the models.
