Hi Thomas,
Congratulations with the selection of your magnificent build as POTW. Very well deserved! If this will be of any encouragement to you: May I suggest the Alhambra in Granada next? I've never seen a paper model of this before but you never know if such exists . Cheers, Erik |

I thank everyone who has sent words of congratulations. I consider it one of the greatest honors that I have received
Madbrit - I haven't found the missing brick yet but there is a tiny, tiny missing dormer on the roof. Some day I will go through my waste basket and may find it. I doubt many people will notice it....but that brick sure is important! Erik and Billy , I DO HAVE the 2 Merino kits for the Alhambra. One is the Patio De Los Leones and the other is Patio De Los Arrayanes. They are made to fit together to form the whole Alhambra. We visited the Alhambra in 2009 -www.cathedralquest.com/SpainDay10.htm . The Alhambra will be a bigger model than the Mezquista. I will make it someday, but I have over 100 models to make-- and do intent to live long enough to make all of them. By the way Billy, I do make other models than cathedrals. Of the 78 completed models, 22 are non church - Castles, Palaces etc. see CATHEDRAL QUEST: our quest to experience cathedrals in Europe |
