Congratulations Thomas! My comments in your build thread stand. You really outdid yourself on this one.

Excellent choice! This has been a major project, and it is great to see it come to fruition with such a good-looking model of a historic and beautiful structure.

Congratulations, Thomas!

Billy, I couldn't believe my eyes when I logged into the forum a few minutes ago. I feel very honored to have been chosen for the Picture of the Week. I never thought I would make it. Thank you very much for picking my model of the Mezquita. It really is a remarkably detailed model of a beautiful structure. It is also hard to believe that I have had over 5000 views and 80 plus comments.

To see photos of actual mosque/cathedral and read about our visit, please visit my website - CATHEDRAL QUEST: our quest to experience cathedrals in Europe , click on "our adventures", then scroll down to Spain 2009 and click on Day 11 -Cordoba.

Congrats to you, both on winning POTW and your endurance finishing this model. My hands ached just reading about your having to cut all those arches.
Great job.
