Thanks guys! I was very surprised to see my Gresley becoming POTW for the second time and feel very honored! Late November/early December the model also appeared as POTW. Thank you!
The picture however, shows the model when it wasn't finished yet, so allow me to post two pictures of the completed model, along with its tender. Without coal and water the machine won't move . The Netherlands is a flat county, but some parts are definitely not flat.The hilly background in the pictures can be found in the southern tip of the country and is the exception to the rule. An article about the build of the model also appeared in two episodes (last year April and February this year) in the Dutch modelers magazine "De Modelbouwer". Cheers, Erik |
